The personnel costs of the electric equipment manufacturing industry in Finland increased by 69.3 million euros (+7.08 percent) in 2021 in comparison to the previous year. With 1 billion euros, the personnel costs thereby reached their highest value in the observed period. Personnel costs are made up of wages, salaries and employers' social security costs. They include taxes and employees' social security contributions retained by the employer, as well as the employer's compulsory and voluntary social contributions.
