Europe: alternative finance P2P lending value 2023

The transaction value of peer-to-peer consumer and business lending platforms in the European alternative finance market grew significantly between 2017 and 2023. In 2023, marketplace consumer lending reached a total transaction value of 3.17 billion U.S. dollars, while crowdlending saw a much higher transaction value, totaling approximately 5.6 billion U.S. dollars.
