The turnover of the motor vehicles manufacturing industry in the Netherlands declined to 15.6 billion euros in 2020. Nevertheless, the last two years in this industry recorded a significant higher turnover than the preceding years.

Personnel costs also include taxes and employees' social security contributions retained by the unit as well as the employer's compulsory and voluntary social contributions. Personnel costs are made up of wages and salaries and employers' social security costs.
