This statistic presents the global consumer confidence in mobile payment adoption as of September 2014. During the survey period it was found that 17 percent of worldwide shoppers strongly disagreed with using their mobile phone as their main tool for purchasing. However, 24 percent of shoppers in selected emerging markets, such as India and China, had a strong confidence in smartphone commerce adoption.
