Home video and cinema revenue in Germany 2000-2023

In 2023, German cinemas generated revenues of about 929 million euros. This was a large increase from the previous year due to the re-opening of the cinemas after the pandemic. This was also comparable with the revenue of the home video market, which made 779 million euros.
