In 2023, 60 percent of respondents had a TV that was either an HDTV set or HD ready as their main television set. By contrast, only six percent of respondents did not have HD TVs as their main television set.Generally, the use of a TV that was either an HDTV set or HD ready as a main television set increased throughout the years. On the other hand, as 4K TVs were becoming more prevalent, the shipments of full HD TVs were expected to decline worldwide.
