Revenue share of e-books in Germany 2010-2023

In 2023, around 6.1 percent of books sold on the consumer market in Germany were e-books. This was a slight increase compared to 2022. Ten years earlier, the share was 2.4 percent and has grown strongly since then. Sales in 2023 totaled around 41 million units.
