The most creative brands and companies ranked by number of HORIZONT creative ranking points in Germany in 2019
On principle, the ranking includes only German agencies and brands that are present on the German market.
Competitions:
HORIZONT magazine's creative ranking is based on the 16 most important national and international award shows. It is comprised of competitions in different communications disciplines like TV and print advertising, direct marketing, design, indoor events and communication, online and alternative media, branded content and public relations. It includes all award shows that released their results before HORIZONT's editorial deadline. Finalist positions and nominations do not effect the results.
Evaluation criteria: Grand Prix and Best-of-Show-Awards count as 8 points, gold as 6, silver as 4 and bronze as 2. Special awards are rewarded like bronze. Regarding D&AD Global Awards black pencils equal a Grand Prix, yellow pencils gold, yellow nominations silver and in-book bronze. These point are multiplied by the factor of the competition. If in a competition only winners are declared, this counts as gold. Only German companies are incorporated in the ranking.
