This statistic shows the destinations of school leavers in Northern Ireland in the academic year 2015/2016, broken down by school type. Of Grammar school leavers, 68.8 percent went on to higher education, with further 21.4 percent seeking institutions of further education. In contrast, only 23.5 percent of non-Grammar school leavers went on to higher education, with the majority having chosen further education institutions and 15.2 percent having gone into training.
