Movie theater admissions in Germany 1993-2023

In 1993, there were roughly 130.5 million movie theatre admissions in Germany. By 2023, this figure had decreased to 95.7 million. A record number of moviegoers was registered in 2001 with nearly 178 million people going to see a film that year. However, 2023, did see an increase from 2022.
