Mobile phone Facebook users in Russia 2013-2018

This statistic displays a timeline of the number of active mobile Facebook users in Russia from 2013 to 2014 with forecasts until 2018. Facebook users are defined as mobile phone users of any age who access their Facebook account via mobile phone in browser or with the app at least once per month. In 2013, the number of active mobile phone Facebook users in Russia was 10.1 million, and is expected to reach 20.6 million users in 2018. This constitutes an increase of over 100 percent from 2013 to 2018. It was also forecast that the total number of Facebook user in Russia will increase to 24.45 million in 2018 and to 27.68 million by 2021. The forecast shows a steady increase of around 1 to 1.5 million users per year. As of January 2017, Russia was the country with the highest number of monthly active mobile social media users in Europe with 38.5 million, followed by the United Kingdom with 37 million active users.
