The global exchange-traded derivatives market shifted significantly from 2019 to 2023. The APAC region emerged as the dominant player, increasing its market share from 42.4 percent in 2020 to 73.5 percent in 2023. Conversely, the Americas experienced a decline, falling from 42.3 percent in 2020 to 20.7 percent in 2023. The EMEA region also lost market share, accounting for approximately six percent of the ETDs contracts traded worldwide in 2023.
