In recent years, Asia Pacific emerged as the dominant force in ETDs contracts trading worldwide. Exchange-traded derivatives volumes in 2023 showed significant regional variation. In 2023, with over 100 billion ETDs, Asia-Pacific experienced exceptional growth, doubling its volume with a 104.4 percent increase. North America and Europe also expanded, even though only minimally, with increases of 6.2 percent and 2.6 percent, respectively.
