It can be seen that the opinion of the euro for members of the population in the Republic of Ireland was predominantly good, with 88 percent of respondents stating it is a good thing for the country. On the other hand, the share of people stating that the euro is a good thing for their country in Lithuania stood at 49 percent for the same time period. Overall, the share of the euro area population stating that the euro was a good thing for their country stood at 65 percent as of October 2019.
