This statistic illustrates methods used to access mobile internet in the European Union (EU-28) from 2016 to 2019. In 2019, mobile internet access via laptop, notebook device or tablet computer was less common than via mobile phones (or smart phones), at 41 percent.

Data given are based on the annual Eurostat Model Questionnaires on ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) usage and e-commerce in enterprises. The aim of the European ICT usage surveys is to collect and disseminate harmonised and comparable information on the use of Information and Communication Technologies in enterprises and e-commerce at European level.
Data coverage corresponds to codes I_IUMC, I_IUHD, I_IUMD and I_IUMP of INDIC_IS (Information Society Indicators).
