This statistic shows the differences in the share of girls in care and not in care who have reached the education levels expected of them in reading, writing and mathematics at Key Stage 2 (KS2) in England in 2015. The biggest gap was in mathematics, as 22 percent more female pupils in care did not reach level 4 as expected.
