Coffee drinkers in the United Kingdom (UK) are more likely to purchase white coffee (including cappuccino and lattes) than they are black coffee (including espresso) when dining out. On average 26 milliliters of white coffee was consumed per person per week in the UK in 2021/22, compared to three milliliters of black coffee. The survey showed that for an additional amount (ten milliliters on average) the type of coffee purchased was not specified
