Global opinion on the online access to important information 2014, by region

This statistic presents the share of global internet users who believe the internet to be important for their future in terms of accessing important information and scientific knowledge as of November 2014, sorted by region. During the survey period it was found that 93 percent of internet users in Latin America felt that the online access to vital information and scientific knowledge was important for their future. Overall, 91 percent of global internet users agreed with the statement.
