In 2020, the number of enterprises in the beer manufacturing industry in Belgium did not change in comparison to the previous year. The number of enterprises remained at 0 million enterprises. In accordance with EU REGULATION (EC) No 250/2009 only companies are included here which were active during at least a part of the reference period. It also includes local units (branches) which do not constitute a separate legal entity and which are dependent on foreign enterprises.
Structural business statistics (SBS) describes the structure, conduct and performance of economic activities, down to the most detailed activity level (several hundred economic sectors). Number of enterprises: a count of the number of enterprises active during at least a part of the reference period. Definition for number of enterprises differs in some countries. Data coverage corresponds to Section C1105 of NACE Rev 2.
