The number of enterprises in the mining of coal and lignite industry in Hungary increased by two enterprises (+50 percent) since the previous year. The year 2021 therefore marks a significant change in the number of enterprises compared to the previous year. Nevertheless, the last two years in this industry recorded a significant lower number of enterprises than the preceding years. According to Eurostat, this includes all companies that were active during at least a part of the reference period.
