Assets of eurozone insurance firms

Debt securities owned by insurance companies in the eurozone amounted to nearly three trillion euros as of the third quarter of 2022. Non-money market fund investment fund shares and equity (including listed shares) completed the top three, with financial asset values of approximately 2.48 trillion euros and just over one trillion euros.
