This statistic shows the proportion of deaf pupils in Wales in the academic year 2016/2017 by their main language. 58 percent of pupils use a spoken English, whereas 7 percent of deaf pupils in Wales use spoken Welsh or another language, and 24 percent of pupils use spoken English in conjunction with sign language.
