Despite the economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Brazilians were still planning on buying presents for Children's Day in 2021. According to a survey carried out in the country, 72 percent of respondents were planning to go shopping for presents for Children's Day, which takes place on October 12th each year. This represents the same share as the previous year, and a decrease of only 1.3 percentage points in comparison to the data collected on a similar survey in 2019. That year, clothes and shoes was the most chosen product category for Children's Day presents in Brazil.
