* Europe here includes Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands only. Data has been consolidated by the source (IRI/Eurostat) across each category, with the following exceptions: Tea: UK data excludes iced tea and other tea based beverages (others do)
Juices, squashes and syrups: Germany includes smoothies and refrigerated fruit juice (others do not)
Mineral water: France includes flavored mineral water and Italy includes flavored sports drinks (others do not)
Market channels used to source data include supermarkets, hypermarkets, plus hard discounters, small self service and drugstores depending on the region.
