This statistic shows the share of used cars sold, from all car sales, by motor dealers in the United Kingdom between February 2012 and February 2020, as a 12 month rolling average. The share of used cars sold compared to new cars increased slightly over this period. An average of 60.8 percent of all cars sold by dealers between February 2019 and 2020 was pre-owned.
