Religion - share of countries with different levels of restriction 2007-2012

This statistics shows the percentage of countries from 2007 to 2012 where levels of government restrictions involving religion were low, moderate, high or very high. In June 2009, 44 percent of countries had low government restrictions involving religion, 25 percent of countries worldwide had moderate restrictions, and 31 percent of countries had high or very high levels of government restrictions involving religion.
