Consumer financial situation has significantly deteriorated over the past 12 months in Hungary. More specifically, negative answers outweighed positive answers by over 34 percentage points in July 2023 compared to the corresponding month of the previous year. The financial worth of households per capita in Hungary continuously increased between 2010 and 2021.
