This statistic shows how consumers have permanently changed their food shopping habits since the 'horsemeat scandal' in Great Britain in 2013. According to the survey, 10 percent of respondents now buy less processed meat and 8 percent fewer ready meals. The majority however, claimed it had not had any impact on the way they choose or buy food (69 percent).
