Distribution of music expenditure in Great Britain 2023, by retailer type
According to a study on the distribution of consumer spending on music at retail in Great Britain, home delivery accounted for the greatest share of the market in 2023, at roughly 61.7 percent. Retailers offering high street shopping took the second highest share, at 36.7 percent. Compared to previous years, the share of people buying in the high street increased while both home deliveries and sales at supermarkets decreased.
