Hospital utilization by highly integrated health systems in the U.S. 2014
This statistic depicts the utilization of U.S. hospitals that are in and out of highly integrated systems as of year-end 2014. As of that moment, 66.8 percent of total inpatient surgeries occurred in hospitals within highly integrated health systems. These types of hospitals own or contract with at least one acute-care hospital, one physician component and one other care component.
