This statistic shows the share of guests returning to hotels worldwide as of July 2014. During the survey, 38 percent of respondents said that up to 25 percent of their guests returned for another stay at their establishment.
An amenity that was considered by the majority of guests to be a must have was air conditioning in 2015. In the same year, around 53 percent of hotel guests stated that they would complain if the hotel had unpleasant carpet odors.
