Facebook Messenger: mobile usage penetration in selected countries 2014
This statistic gives information on the percentage of mobile internet users in selected countries who are active Facebook Messenger users. As of second quarter 2014, the Facebook Messenger penetration rate among UK mobile internet users was 40 percent. In contrast, developing markets had far higher adoption rate with the Philippines being ranked highest with 59 percent of mobile internet user usage penetration. Overall, the global average amounted to a 38 percent adoption rate.
