During the period of consideration, the share of sales ranged from 35.1 percent in 2015 to 44.1 percent in 2009. In 2016, the U.S. artists' share of music singles sold in the United Kingdom was 37.8 percent, and the year-end top 10 chart included three U.S. artists, namely Justin Timberlake, Mike Posner and The Chainsmokers.
