U.S. mobile app hours per user 2016, by age and device

This statistic presents the number of mobile app hours per user in the United States in June 2016, sorted by age group. During that month, users aged 25 to 34 years accessed mobile apps via smartphone for an average of 85.6 hours. As of the same month, it was found that 69 percent of digital time in the United States was spent via mobile. Social networking apps accounted for the majority of U.S. mobile app time with a 21 percent share. Music apps were ranked second with 16 percent.
