In 2020, over 50 percent of coffee drinkers in the United States drank a medium cup of coffee (about 12 to 16 ounces) for their past day consumption, making it the most common cup size for U.S. consumers that year. Only ten percent of respondents had an espresso size cup (about 3 ounces) in the measured period.
Leading ground coffee brands
In 2020, Folgers was by far the leading regular ground coffee brand in the United States, with sales over one billion U.S. dollars. Dunkin’ Donuts ranked fifth that year with approximately 300 million U.S. dollars.

Dunkin’ Brands had total revenues that amounted to approximately 1.3 billion U.S. dollars in 2019, which was a 3.6 percent increase compared to 2017. The company also owned over 13,000 stores worldwide in 2019, 9,630 of which were located in the United States.
