Experience of negative online activity among narrow internet users UK 2013-2015

This statistic displays experience of any negative types of online activity among narrow internet users in the United Kingdom (UK) between 2013 and 2015. In 2013, 22 percent of respondents reported receiving spam or unwanted emails from companies trying to sell things. The share of respondents decreased by five percent in 2015. Among general internet users 53 percent received unwanted mails. Narrow users, as defined by the source, are simply less likely to experience certain types of online use or experiences. It is no surprise that they barely encounter online content that they consider to be nasty or offensive.
