In 2023, roughly half of the short-term rental fleet size of members of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) in the United Kingdom were cars. Meanwhile, BVRLA members had 214,700 light commercial vehicles in their short-term rental fleet. The short-term rental fleet of those companies still was significantly smaller than before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
