The sources states that the participants provided insight into their mobile habits and preferences across several market segments, including media, entertainment, travel services, financial services, consumer products, and consumer electronics. To qualify within a market segment, a consumer needed to have reported an activity within the segment within the last six months. All figures reported on within a segment are specific to the sample that qualified into that specific segment. Mobile elite is defined as these who reported using media mobile apps or websites for longer than six hours in a week.
