Survey: client actions in the bank branch in the UK 2014, by age

This statistic presents actions performed in bank branch by customers in United Kingdom, detailed for different age groups. The activity of customers from all specified age groups is at similar levels for transactional actions, such as depositing cash or cheques, or withdrawal of cash (between 78 percent and 66 percent). However, when it comes to value added actions, such as getting new information, changing details or purchasing new service, a difference can be observed. Customers from younger age groups, 18-24 and 25-34 are more active in performing those actions in bank branches than customers from older age group (35+). For example, 52 percent of customers in 'youngest' age bracket changed details in bank branch, compared to only 17 percent of customers from 'oldest' age bracket, 35+.
