This statistic shows how consumers experienced switching gas and/or electricity suppliers in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2014, based on level of ease. 74 percent of consumers found switching suppliers to be easy, while 10 percent found it difficult. According to the report, those responding with "easy" to the survey question gave a score of 7 to 10, with "neither easy nor difficult" a score of 4 to 6 and with "difficult" a score of 0 to 3. The mean score among respondents amounted to 7.65, which shows the overall experience of switching energy suppliers in the UK is in the "easy" range for consumers.
