Business trips covered the least amount of miles out of the various trip types with other private reasons had the highest share. Cars aged three to six years tended to travel the furthest annually with the older cars usually travelling less.
Overall, petrol vehicles covered the furthest distances mostly when being used for private purposes, with the covering at least almost twice the distance they covered for business purposes in the year 2015.
