In 2023, spending on data center systems amounted to 236 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of around four percent compared to the previous year. The IT spending on datacenter systems has been on the rise since 2021 and is expected to grow further with a forecasted growth rate of 10 percent in the year 2024, fueled by demand for generative artificial intelligence.
