This statistic shows the registrations of newly diagnosed cases of female breast cancer in England from 1995 to 2021. Breast cancer occurs when cells in the breast begin to grown abnormally, these cells often form a tumor. In 2021, almost 50 thousand new cases were reported. The increase in cases since 1995 could also be due to more effective and frequent screening of women in England.
