This statistic shows the investment plans of convenience store retailers in Great Britain, as reported in quarterly surveys from 2013 to 2014. In May 2014, 24 percent of retailers said that in the next year they would invest in existing stores while just 2 percent said they would buy new stores.

Respondents were asked: "thinking about your business in the next year, do you plan to...? - Invest in existing stores; buy new stores; sell stores". * The remaining share of retailers responded with "no plans" or "don't know"
