Outbound visitor growth in Europe 2020-2025, by region
According to a 2024 study, the number of outbound tourist visits from Europe is expected to grow across all regions in that year. After the sharp decline with the onset of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and the rebound in 2022, outbound visits in Europe are predicted to grow by 12.2 percent in 2024. That year, Central and Eastern European countries are forecast to record the highest figure, with a 16.1 percent increase in outbound trips.
