Public opinion on Scottish unemployment benefits funding 2013 British survey

This statistic shows how citizens of England and Wales, in comparison to Scotland, feel that unemployment benefits in Scotland should be funded. Around three-fifths of the people in Scotland are keen that the necessary funding for unemployment benefits in Scotland is to come from across the UK as a whole. People in England and Wales take much the same view of how these welfare benefits should be funded as they do about how income tax revenues should be used, with two-thirds (66%) saying they should be funded from a UK-wide pot.
