The cost of 'big shed' prime industrial warehouse space per square foot in varied greatly across different cities in the United Kingdom (UK) as of January 2022. The most expensive market was Greenford, London, at 25 British pounds per square foot, while the least expensive was Teesside, Northern Ireland, at 5.95 British pounds. Furthermore, the price per square foot of larger (100+ thousand square foot) industrial warehousing was less expensive that that of smaller warehousing. Other factors that could affect pricing included location, proximity to major road systems, key population areas, price of developing land and staff costs.
