This statistic shows the Retail Price Index - Jevons (RPIJ) in the United Kingdom (UK) from 2003 to 2016. Over this time period, the RPIJ increased by 26 percent, growing from 177.4 points in 2003 to a peak of 240.9 points in 2016. By comparison, the monthly RPIJ increased by 2.5 percent between January 2015 and January 2017, with a peak of 244 points in December 2016. In contrast, the Retail Price Index (RPI) saw a growth rate of 4.4 percent between January 2015 and December 2016, reaching 267.1. Whilst the Consumer Price Index (CPIH) saw an increase of 21.3 percent in the last 11 years.
