The number of passenger journeys taken on the Nottingham Express Transit peaked in 2018/19 with 18.8 million journeys. As a result of the global Covid-19 outbreak, passenger volume for the 2020/21 financial year dropped to 3.4 million passenger journeys, a sharp decrease of around 15 million journeys compared to the 2019/20 financial year.
