Central government grants to the rail industry in Great Britain 2000-2019
This statistic shows the annual amount of support given out in grants by the central government of the United Kingdom (UK) to the rail industry from 2000 to 2019. The highest amount paid out in central government grants was during the fiscal year 2006/2007 at almost 1.5 billion British pounds. From 2010/2011 onwards the government received greater receipts than grants. In the fiscal year 2018/2019, the central government of the United Kingdom received 417 million British pounds in grants from the rail industry.
